Raised on a cattle and timber farm and homeschooled, we grew up on bluegrass and traditional country, learning to harmonize the way other families learn to talk.

The Balkcom Sisters online
Posting cover performances on Instagram and TikTok as the Balkcom Sisters, we began to gather a following one harmony at a time.

The industry calls
In January 2023 the attention turned professional. We became The Castellows, after our great grandmother's maiden name, Castellow.

Warner and Nashville
In the spring we signed with Warner Music Nashville and Warner Records, and we moved to Nashville to chase it all the way.
Feb 2024
A Little Goes a Long Way
Our debut EP arrived on February 9, 2024, and introduced the sound the world had only glimpsed in clips.

Watch lists and a CMT nod
CMT Next Women of Country, CMT Listen Up, Nashville Lifestyles, and a nomination for CMT Digital First Performance of the Year all landed in the same breakout year.

A three song EP closed the year, led by the exquisitely melancholy Girl That Boy.
2025
Homecoming
Our seven song Homecoming EP arrived on May 30, 2025, and our headline Homecoming Tour kicked off in Austin on September 13.

International stages
The road keeps widening, with international dates including Amsterdam, Dublin, and London, and new music on the way.
